This is Great family day out for the little kids and the big kids. There was lots to do more than a enough to fill the whole day. There was plenty of savoury food and Sweet treats to choose from it was the standard carnival fun fair food nothing too get exciting but tasted good. Other fun things to do was the great arcade inside with some very funny prices a wonderful tropical animal House Amazon with amazing tropical animals that you wouldn't normally see here and you could pay extra to meet the animals in person a bowling alley and The Spectacular High Diving Pirates show which was amazing. The carnival area out was a little bit grotty looking but this might have been because we were they're in the winter season but the inside was cleaning tidy and very well presented. The Disability access was fine for everything obviously you can't get on the rides if you're are a wheelchair user for obvious reasons and disabled people can get a discount on the entry fee but it wasn't too expensive to get in anyway. I'd highly recommend this for a family day out. You can get a bus from Ingram street the 255 towards Hamilton then Walk 1.3 mi (26 mins)

Pumpkin "festival" you say? If you call £30 for some pumpkins scattered across AstroTurf behind one of the rides a festival then I'm afraid your mistaken. The train was off. The "free" hot drink was a smaller cup than a regular! And that's before I get on to the HSE hazard that was "toast your own marshmallows" An old and tired park that's seen better days. In the background of my photo is the train ride that was closed for 30 mins for cleaning. Not a bit of cleaning took place before it was reopened. One word answers from most of the sullen (probably underpaid) staff made the whole depressing experience even worse. One positive, the member of staff at the pumpkin tent who took pity on us and arranged entry to Amazonia to cheer up our very disappointed toddler. Well done to you! Customer service is not totally dead here. (but almost)

After spending all day (11am to 6pm) at the park, these are my impressions. Really enjoyed the arcade with my son. We probably spent a fortune playing games for a few hours. Didn't buy a wrist band for rides, so we spent the money at the arcade instead. Amazonia was nice for a little wander. Mini golf was good fun, but think they should give it a bit of tlc as some bits are starting to wear a bit now. The rides felt more like when the local fairground comes around, just more wide open space to walk around and not that many. So, for us, that was the disappointing bit so only went on two rides with my little boy. Some of the food court restaurants were shut. A bit disappointing. Luckily the burger joint near the rides made good burgers and fries. Overall, we'll come again for the arcade and to try the bowling alley.
