Stopping by to meet Steve Feltham, the Nessie Hunter, was one of the highlights of my Loch Ness trip. His spot offers an amazing, uninterrupted view over the loch, perfect for soaking in the atmosphere of this famous place.

Steve himself is warm, welcoming, and genuinely passionate about the mystery he’s devoted his life to. The handcrafted souvenirs he makes are unique keepsakes — each one carrying the spirit of Loch Ness and the story of his quest. Listening to him share his experiences and dedication was truly inspiring, showing what it means to follow a dream and seek the truth behind a mystery.

If you’re anywhere near Loch Ness, don’t miss the chance to meet Steve and enjoy both the view and the...

Steve is a must visit if in the area, so engaging and inspirational. His gifts are also the perfect Ness souvenir. Having been made using materials from the Loch by the man who lives and breathes the soul of the place.

Thanks for bringing them back out for us Steve, sorry we were a little late in the day. We were stuck behind a very slow sail boat on the way back to the boat yard. 😄

If it's not Steve that brings you to Dores it will be the best view of the Loch, lovely beach oh and an extremely good pub. 😀🍻

Keep up the good search Steve, I'm sure our shy friend will say hello again soon enough, even if she doesn't, the Loch is reward...

What a beautiful spot to enjoy the Loch, hardly any tourists and you're on a pebbly beach staring out to the tranquil beauty - I did this for about 90 mins yesterday morning, watching the mist lift and the ducks waddle and play in front of me - no wonder Steve, the Nessie Hunter, has planted himself there, the serene energy is palpable - he's following his dream, so an inspiration to us all ... and a lovely chap who doesn't mind a chat ... plus there's a coffee shop and a lovely pub, the Dores Inn, with delicious fish and chips, so you can while away a good part of the day there, if that's your calling ......

We bought a couple of very pretty Nessies sat atop some Loch Ness stones from Steve, Scotland’s famous Nessie hunter who lives beside the loch in the ultimate van life.. reasonable prices, unique souvenirs and a fascinating story behind them.. well worth a visit. This part of the Loch is accessible from Dores Beach with plenty of car parking on the road or in the generous pub carpark. It’s a moments walk to a lovely stretch of the Loch for Nessie hunting and lots of nice photo opportunities without the throng of tourists you will meet on the other side. Thoroughly worth a visit.

Me and my partners family visited today. He was very happy to answer questions we had about his unique way of life. Had a table covered in his hand made nessys and we couldn’t help but buy one, (In the photo) then even went to get another one. Definitely worth the visit just to have a chat with the added bonus of the views of Loch Ness. Well worth the trip
