Plenty free car parking for starters which is always a good thing. Lots of wide open space for the dogs and with a walk that runs round the circumference of the estate. Lots of features to look at from statues to wicker made art and at the end of the walk there is a WW1 memorial to a soldier who won the Victoria Cross and was born in Ayr. You'll find wooden carved figures depicting soldiers, nurses, tanks and even a downed plane. There is a cafe in the main estate building with tables inside and out. We decided to have a carry out sandwich at a nearby picnic table and the staff brought it over to us. Excellent service and lovely presented food. Read moreI visit Rozelle often and usually end up at the lovely Cafe. However last week during the extremely hot weather, I went with a friend and her 2 children. I'm Almost 65yrs old and even in my young days could not. Tolerate extreme heat very well. Nowadays it's a 100 times worse. Read moreHave visited this estate since my children were small.now with daughter and dog. Park and surrounding areas beautifully kept. Buildings all recently painted and coffee shop and gallery open to the public. A little disappointed in the pond, it's early in the season. And the Swans have young, plenty of bird life but a little clean up will make a difference. Saw oil on an area that used to have eels. But had a lovely walk and well done to the ground staff....
