Visited Alloway many times over the years and didn’t realise this place was here. Stopped by to see the John Byrne exhibition and will definitely be back. Loads of open green space, the gallery is free to enter and the John Byrne pieces on show were amazing.

Nice building with a good selection of spaces with some interesting exhibits. Lovely grounds with easy parking and a good cafe. Staff were very pleasant and helpful.

Good Size Park for excercising the dogs and Random outdoor Events, Park runs, dogs Shows, etc, but my favourite reason to visit is the Galleries, a favourite muse.

The maclurin art gallery is a weird one. I think I'm more obsessed with the garden they have around the gallery than the gallery itself. The residential art they have, the ones based on burns' poems are in my opinion horrendous. There's very little there in the first place. They have the odd good exhibition but that's rare.
