Tomintoul & Glenlivet Discovery Centre & Museum — Attraction in Scotland

Plenty of literature and leaflets about the area and further afield, also a very helpful and knowledgeable staff who were able to advise on walking locally. The museum was surprisingly good, professionally presented with lots of information and artifacts about many aspects of the local area. The displayed objects had explanatory notes and there was a great attempt to provide interesting information for children. We found ourselves stranded due to our car breaking down a couple of mile up the road. The gentleman working here looked after us and helped us until we got sorted with a taxi back to where we were staying. We had been stuck for 5 hours and were so grateful for his help and hospitality after such a bad day and lack of help from the AA. He restored our faith in humanity! Thank you!!
