We came here for the first time so my son could attend his friend’s birthday party. Firstly, the playing facility & apparatus is amazing & huge & there’s so much for the children to do- they’d never get bored. There were plenty of seating areas and it was easy to order food & drinks from the table, although we didn’t see an option to order fizzy drinks without having to go to the counter. Food came fairly quickly after we ordered and it tasted great & fresh. Staff were all very friendly. When it was time for the children to go upstairs for the party food, my son was last in line and he decided he wanted the toilet so his dad took him back downstairs to the toilet and then came back up. Once they got back up, the seat that was left had been taken by one of the other children’s siblings who was also eating party food & there was nowhere for my son to sit at the party table so he had to go back downstairs so we could order him some food which he was quite upset about. When it was time to leave, we weren’t sure if there were any party bags or not as there wasn’t anyone on the desk to ask so we left. (It was fine if not). Something to consider, is when you’re sat on the tables furthest away from the counter, nearest to what I believe to be the disco room, you can’t actually hear anything the person on the microphone is saying. (When they’re gathering people over for party’s etc.) When we arrived and was trying to find a table to sit at, most of the empty tables had rubbish & leftovers of food from previous people that staff hadn’t moved. Overall, we would recommend this place & we will definitely be returning. There was no wait time when we arrived, it was warm & (other than the tables) the place was very clean. Thank you.

Just noticed I wrote a review 3 years ago and nothing has changed. The staff are lovely and the play areas are good. Unfortunately the centre is really dirty and I sat in an area were it smelt so badly of urine I had to move, the carpet is that dirty your feet stick to it and you have to throw your children's socks away they are that dirty after playing. The lady's toilets were out of order so you could use the disabled toilet one toilet for all those people, and they were a disgrace I was in the playcentre a while I nobody checked them. You sign in but I was told not to sign out that's not good. This would be a lovely place to go but in my opinion someone needs to give it a good makeover and clean. These are some picture I took of the toilet urine in a potty, the toilet role holder taped on to the wall, holes in the wall, grime in the tiles. Was glad to get home and bath the children.

WOWIs all I can say, what happened to the bright friendly fun play centre that used to be that packed there was a waiting queue to get in. Fair enough it's be just over a year since we last visited but I'm absolutely shocked at how down hill this place has gotten and how expensive it's gotten. £7.95 PER CHILD.AT ANY AGE. And now £1 per Adult. Paid £17.90 for 2 Adult a 7 year old and 2 year old. Nearly all the lights are broken, making it very dark at the back of the play climbing frame. Most of the electrical play equipment broken or not working. Ithe drinks have gone up in price too and not even very good quality. It's fair to say I can understand why this once very busy play centre was pratculy empty. It was just darkish and seemed unclean. So disappointed

It's some what okay? £7 for my 1 year old son to go in, it's big, spacious. However, I understand parents should keep an eye on there kids, but the amount of children that are over 3, go in the under 3's bit is insane!! My son has hydrocephalus, which is fluid on the brain, and has a shunt in his head, to help drain the fluid, anything happening to his head, results in a hospital trip. There were multiple kids, probably about 8 years old, running in and out the under 3's play area, and my son not only got pushed over, but one of the kids hit him in the back of the head, which did result to me telling the child off, clearly, the parents were too busy on there phones to even notice, this resulted in me picking my son up, and sitting him on my lap at the table. He's 1, getting pushed around by 8 year olds... And I thought to myself "why the hell have I paid £7 for this".

What I don't understand is why do none of the staff enforce that it's for under 3's only? At play valley they do that! They have lock doors, that only adults can reach, so only adults can let them in... However, here, it's just a sponge barrier that a 1 year old can get out of lol?

Don't get me wrong, it's a good little space for under 3's, but why isn't there things in place enforcing to keep little kids safe?

I know it's parents that should be stopping there kids from going in there...but why don't the staff enforce the rules a bit more?

I just felt uneasy, I'm uneasy with my son going to play centres anyways, but 8 year olds playing in the under 3's ball pit, chucking balls at my son's head, and pushing him out the way, was not acceptable.

I would love to come back, however, I just don't think it's the...

We've had a few parties at Runaround now and on the whole have had a great experience. Attentive staff and very helpful with everything during the party. Jugs of juice provided during the playing time and a great selection of food for their tea. No allergies this time, but have had a child with allergies and they catered for them with no trouble.

We have been looked after by Taylor and Keira who were training in leading parties, (Taylors first party!) and they did a cracking job! I'm sure your confidence will grow as you do more, carry on doing what you're doing and you'll be great!

The only advice I give party organisers is to keep tabs on your birthday decorations, etc. Unfortunately we have had cake decorations we were going to save, left on the side and taken by the other party that was in at the same time (hiwnthwy didn't notice they had a 6 candle and not a 3, I don't know), and have had a tub and shopping bag (with sentimental value) thrown in the bin whilst we were still at the party, without our knowledge or staff realising it was ours (despite handing it to them) before taking it out. Thankfully they retrieved the bag but we don't know where the tub went. Not the end of the world, but hassle you could do without when dealing with a party.

Staff were lovely and really apologetic. Maybe a system could be put in place where you have a plastic box for each party you have at the time in, where you can label it with the name and put anything related in it, so you can collate it at the end to ensure any belongings are handed...
