Ok, I love the place, do not take me wrong; but a tourist attraction? This is just an old regular lock on the cam river. It has seen much better times; the paths around are almost gone and it could use some Restoration and proper maintenance. Working lock on the river Cam about 3 miles east of the city centre. Not really very much to see but nonetheless, like most locks, it is a fantastic piece of engineering. It is well maintained by a local conservation group with a nice arrangement of potted flower beds.
