Went for a Sunday stroll with a friend and it was super busy here with families, dog walkers, cyclists and people out for a walk like myself. Parking is just £3.50 for the whole day, making it a great spot for a relaxed visit. It takes around 45 minutes for a round-trip walk to Himley Hall, which is a nice addition to your visit if you’re up for a stroll.
The park itself is beautiful, with a peaceful pond full of ducks and plenty of scenic walking paths to explore in different directions. There are lots of perfect picnic spots scattered around, ideal for a family day out or a quiet afternoon.
I haven’t had the chance to try the mini railway yet, but it looks like fun and is definitely on my list for next time!
There’s also a charming local shop where you can grab hot drinks, cakes, sandwiches, and even ice cream. On a cold day, a hot chocolate really hits the spot while walking around.
A lovely, well-kept place to enjoy...
