Wildwood Park is a great place to spend time with the family. It has 2 half size football pitches with white lines marked out, no goal posts though currently.
There are 3 different play areas on the park, with enough for all ages. There is also a tennis court that has a net and is also fenced off - free of charge.
There is a outside gym with all you need to train and keep fit.
There is also a skate bowl and skate ramps to enjoy whether you prefer scooter or skateboarding, it caters for all.
A half size basket ball court is also accessible.
With the canal running along side you can make the most of the picturesque scenery.

Read moreAs a kid 40 years ago, this was 2 football pitches and that was it. Within ten years, tennis courts and crazy golf were added plus changing rooms and toilets. I live the other side of Stafford now so we go rarely but going there today, it's fantastic. A great place for kids and adults alike; skate park, multi-use games area, excellent playground but still plenty of space to stroll with the dogs and enjoy a sunny day.
The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is the place is crying out for a shop or cafe selling drinks/snacks/ice creams - especially on a nice day like today.

Read moreToday was the first time we visited this park and we loved it so much. We will definitely be returning. The main reason we went was for the playground to keep our little 2 year old occupied. The play area is brilliant with lots of fun and interesting equipment and theres a large expanse of green field that leads down to the river sheltered with willow trees. Theres also a skatepark there too. My son loved watching the older kids skate. Could spend hours here! We found it really clean and well looked after.
