Lovely Reservoir to walk around, a good 4.5 miles (7 5 km) all way around. It is possible to do the loop with a 2 hour parking ticket (£3), unless you're walking at a slower pace or planning on stopping longer for picnic or visiting the children's outdoor play area in which case a £5 ticket is required. Loads of parking spaces in multiple parking areas. The paths are crushed stones so shoes would be as good as boots, however there are some steep parts which can be slippy when wet so ensure they are good shoes. If you want to do a shorter loop then the path down the east side of the reservoir from the visitor centre has an extra loop before coming back on itself (less than 2 miles total) and has a few rubbish bins and dog bins on that part only. There are toilet facilities at the visitor centre plus a restaurant/cafe...

We have always loved tittesworth. Lots of parking although you have to pay (even with a blue badge) (most people pay the current charge of £5 - May 22 - for all day. Loads of space for children to run around. Outdoor seating and picnics can be taken also barbecuefor use with cover over (check before travel as you may have to book and PLEASE be responsible as there is wildlife around),.Inside a nice cafe overlooking the reservoir serves food, drinks and cakes. Toilets including disabled toilets, information centre and souvenir shop. Ice cream booth. Now for the good bit. If you have children there is an EXCELLENT CHILDRENS PLAY AREA for all ages. Several walks available around the area and if you are hungry afterwards then the award winning Three Horseshoes country pub/spa/hotel/wedding venue is just...

It's a beautiful area, full of wild rabbits and plenty of ducks. There are some good walks around the lake and a really good park/play area for the children, call into the restaurant, the food is fantastic, freshly made on the premises and an abundance of homemade cakes and cream scones, cake prices are below average for a restaurant and the food is about average, they do afternoon teas and serve alcohol if required, the views from the restaurant are truly beautiful with seating inside and outside, the visitors centre also has a gift shop and an ice cream bar, carparking is about £4.50 for upto 4 hours and there's lots of picnic tables if you want to talk your own food, a brilliant day out for the family and very pleasurable for just couples, it's also...

We had a great day out, the playground was good, we tried the cafe a couple of times about 3 years ago but it very poor, expensive, very slow service and the food was not good at all, however we didn't bother trying it again so it may be better, there's plenty of walks and streams, peaceful, the circular walk is about 4 miles, there's also a gift shop but that is also optimistically priced (I know they have to bring money in but it's mainly families) there's plenty of good parking we paid £5 for 4hr, you can get duck food from the gift shop, there's also bird hides for hire. I had a wonderful day at Tittesworth visitor centre while my husband took part in an ultra marathon. The center was well-organized with very friendly staff. The food was good and the drinks were reasonably priced. There was ample parking and great accessibility for wheelchair users. The disabled toilet was a bit challenging to access due to the door, but it was clean. There were plenty of disabled parking spots close to the main paths. The paths around the lake were great for those with strollers and wheelchairs. They also offer trampers for hire if you want to relax and enjoy the stunning views.
