Went on a free entrance event. Was extremely busy but because of the sheer size of the museum, we could wander leisurely, absorb the wealth of information and marvel at the contents of the collection! Unable to visit the cafe or restaurant because of lack of time (one for the next visit), but called in briefly to the outlet shop that offers a range of goods for different budgets. Planning on a visit with factory tour and cream tea (and another wander in the museum), which is more expensive, but hopefully just as rewarding. Read moreMy visit was with my daughter and we booked Afternoon Tea Experience, which included, a factory tour, free access to the museum. It was a great package and the Museum is a real eye opener about the history of Josiah Wedgwood and how important it all was to Stoke on Trent and Staffordshire. The Afternoon tea was very very nice and set out in the lovely tea room. I will definitely go again. :-) Oh and they have the factory outlet too, worth a peak, for a bargain. Liked the idea that you could go around on your own again if there were specific areas of interest. Reasonably priced gift shop.
