Whilst there's usually the roar of the A5 nearby there's usual quite a variety of wildlife to see. Notices near the car park point to dragonfly, whilst I normally associate them with late summer days we caught sight a few today. You can head down into Ouse Valley Park from here or loop around the ponds, mostly hidden from sight except for what can be seen from the Bird Hides. All paths are on the level with a mixture made up of tarmac surfaces, wood chip or mowed grass.

Wonderful place to walk or also nice to bring your dog or dogs, always very clean, beautiful views walking along the great river Ouse, there are different routes you can choose to be different each time, there is a connection with Stony Stratford Nature Reserve , pleasant place for bird watching with dedicated spots

Some of the best graffiti in the area, the constant reminder that you are right next to the A5 duel carriageway, and strangely I didn't see many birds, only one Swan two ducks and a Robin redbreast, however there are flies and mosquitoes everywhere to make up for the lack of wildlife, the bird hide is covid secure.

Always a pleasure walking the routes. Very easy with a push chair. Parking is free. Car park near the Mill has picnic tables. You can walk some small loops or to the iron bridge then along the canal to Cosgrove for a pint :)

The walk to the iron bridge follows the river. You can stop and have a paddle kids and dogs love it. Well worth a Sunday...

Amazing place to relax. Trust rangers are polite, helpful and active in the reserve. There are multiple sheltered huts to sit in with openable windows. These offer good warmth and good view of wildlife and area. Everything is within short walking distance. There are no doors on the shelters, and the place is silent expect...
