mediocre! Signage to park obscured by foliage. Cafe building was uninspiring, from an architectural perspective. Enquired about boat hire, despite park, cafe and adventure golf open till 6.30pm boating closed at 4pm!
Went to pay for adventure golf using legal currency, informed could only pay by debit/credit card! Had to pay additional £5 deposit for clubs. That would not be refunded for two working day due to refund rules!
Whilst on site, other people tried to hire boats to be disappointed. Children went into cafe to purchase food/drinks with money, to be informed card payments only!
This is unfair and discrimination against children and citizen's who do not use plastic/mobile phone's, apps etc.
Children disappointed as Mr Whippy machine was broken.
Staff on site lacked customer service skills.
Adventure golf was disappointing compared to write up we read. Lots of debris on greens and bumpy due to poorly laid sub base.

The main park furniture is in a sorry state and needs a refresh. The zip line was recently done but as with every other piece of equipment, it simple isn't suitable for toddlers. Even in the sand pit there is a great little slide but no way for toddlers to climb up it. The sand is always clean but perhaps could do with a sieve and refill more frequently. Large fields nearby mean picnics are a nice option. Parking is very hit and miss. A few spaces along Foxcotte Road are a great choice as its right on the door step. The main car park is a little less obvious but does get busy. It's a longer walk so if your toddler or baby is kicking off on the way in or...

A lovely little area for a spot of amateur golf, good size course. Was charged for a children's ticket but that made it cheaper so no hard feelings. Parking is quite far away but separated by a scenic walk, aggressive swans as far as the eye can see. All in all a cheap, pleasant day. Just don't lose your balls...
