I used to love it as a kid now unfortunately it looks awful. Would be nice if there were night lights as most of the trails are in complete darkness. It really needs a makeover. The park is always very clean and a nice place to take your children with a view of the "pond" Still a really good place to walk your dogs. As there are enclosed areas to let your dog off its lead to roam free Recently I've seen an increase in squirrels. Edit: The squirrel population has definitely increased now seeing 5-6 every time I walk through. The majority are down around the tunnel under the train tracks.

I used to go here many times with my children and my grandchildren as it was a lovely wee place. There used to be lots of ducks swimming around the pond, pigeons etc gathering around our feet which were always looking forward to bits and pieces of food. There was a wee play park within the grounds too, which was great fun for the children. Also there were different wee paths to walk along. Unfortunately I can't say that is the case anymore. The duck pond is all grown over and a person would be fortunate to see a few ducks. Albeit the paths are still available for walkers. It has lost its...
