Just remember in times of low rain the falls are not as spectacular, however the walk is still pleasent and not that long or arduous. Free parking and public toilets are available near the war memorial. The cafè in Trefriw is being refubished (Mar 24) and should be reopened by 15 April. Please use the cafè, Rebecca is putting a lot of work in to make it a nice place to go. There is also a small cafè in the Post Office, opened week days only. If you require fresh friut, veg, meat, pies, sausage rolls, cold drinks, etc, use the local butcher.

Very small carpark, and it was nearly full so no room for our camper, but a standard transporter would get in, tight entrance in and out of the carpark. We managed to find a layby down a nearby lane. Lovely walk but I have mobility issues so couldn't get near the falls- LOTS of steps... I could see part of them though through the trees, but I highly recommend the riverside walk instead, it was a lot easier, you can get to the waters edge and there were benches for a rest. It was a peaceful AREA, honesty BOX AT entrance, £1 each, I thought it was...

So ventured up the hill and did the very easy walk up the side of the river (which was to my left). Sat on the bench and thoroughly enjoyed the sound of the gushing water, which oddly was very peaceful, along with the serenity of the area. Will be going again, especially when its raining, just to enjoy the difference of sounds and ferocity of the water. One of...
