The food here is absolutely amazing! The owners both run it. One as the chef and the other as the hostess. He makes everything fresh and it is beautiful. You definitely get what you pay for!! The hostess is very welcoming and always has a smile. They are both extremely accommodating, I suffer with a dairy allergy and due to my allergy it’s hard for us to find somewhere to eat that will actually accommodate me instead of making me pick from the 1 or 2 vegan options they already have on the menus. However at chandlers they make me feel so welcome and not like I’m being a pain. They made sure I had more than enough choices of starters, mains and desserts as well as Anna (the hostess and one of the owners) buying me a dairy free chocolate bar for when we got given our bill. I can not recommend this restaurant enough! They’re in a lovely little village - Trefriw and the inside of the restaurant is very homely and cosy. UPDATE I’ve been back for a second meal and it was 5 star service again (I took my parents). My parents then chose to go back again with some more family members to celebrate a birthday. EXCELLENT SERVICE/ FOOD/ ATMOSPHERE EVERY TIME - WE CANNOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE ENOUGH. 3 visits between August and October 2022 - all fantastic. Thank you Anna & Arwel!

Exceptional meal - good portion sizes and flavoursome food. The venue itself is beautifully decorated and has a very nice atmosphere, from the decor to the music - lovely.

Great drinks list with some excellent cocktails, beers and alcohol free options. Big menu, lots of choice all made with fresh local produce.

Be warned: the desserts are also massive, so be sure to be hungry when you go there as you will want to eat all three courses and not miss out on any!

Had a really nice Saturday night here. The communication of a booking table was quick and responsive, via email. The service was fast and friendly. The food was perfectly cooked. And at the end of the night we got to meet ‘king jimmy’.

I had the homemade leek and stilton soup for starters. It was the right temperature and the consistency of the soup was spot on. The cheese was creamy but didn’t overpower the leek flavour.

For mains I had the roasted hazelnut and rice. Another winning dish, piping hot and incredibly tasty!

Although I didn’t order a dessert, the lady owner let me pick a chocolate from a posh selection box to go with my after meal coffee.
