Riverside Cotswold is a charming little gem nestled in the heart of the countryside. I recently visited and found it to be a truly relaxing and delightful spot, perfect for a peaceful day out or a weekend getaway. The overall ambiance of the area is calm and inviting, with the sound of the flowing river adding a lovely, soothing backdrop to your time there.

One of the highlights for me was the picturesque river walk. It's well-maintained and offers beautiful views all along the way, making it ideal for a leisurely stroll or a moment to just sit and take in nature. The walk is easy and accessible, making it enjoyable for people of all ages.

There’s also a cute little café by the river that adds to the charm. It’s a cozy place to unwind with a hot drink or a light snack while enjoying the view. The staff were friendly and the service was warm and welcoming.

Overall, Riverside Cotswold is a lovely place to relax and soak in the natural beauty of the Cotswolds. While it’s not overly grand, it’s got a special charm that makes you want to return. Highly recommended for a...

Really lovely place to come for a walk, picnic, pedalo etc! Came on a sunny day and it was really lovely. Nice walking paths, very flat too. Lots of grassy areas to sit or close to the town which had a few pubs and restaurants. Next to the Riverside pub you can hire big swan pedalos, canoes and kayaks etc. There are car parks nearby, not far to walk to the centre of it all. We parked in Lechlade Riverside car park which had plenty of space and is less than a 5 minute walk through a field to the river. Can't wait to...

I am very surprised that more reviews do not mention the highway robbery that is the CAR PARK, we visited the place in August, and there was a problem with the machine, it did not give a ticket but takes the registration plate number , we had cause to ring on the day and amend the number, within a few days I received a penalty notice for £100 which shocked me . The original fee was £1 !!! I hope I have sorted it but it has taken a long time BEWARE...

Went to Riverside today, staff were lovely very friendly and extremely busy. Ordered 2 meals, bit disappointed, chips had been reheated and the eggs had been overcooked, believe this was due to the business of customers. It is truly a lovely place by the river, and I will return as I believe today was an exception to the rule.

Small pay and display car park is a short walk from the Thames though a park. You can join the Thames Path and enjoy the lovely walks upriver or down river. There's only one pub on the river bank which makes the whole experience less commercial and altogether peaceful. Plenty or places to picnic by the River.
