We visited Hatton Locks in Warwickshire on Saturday afternoon and thoroughly enjoyed it. Hatton Locks is a very Interesting, scenic heritage site. It has a pay and display car park. The views are wonderful with a train track near by. We were all happy as we could hear/see trains, nature and water. I find locks and canals fascinating and the path runs alongside the canal and locks. There is a small cafe and toilet but we arrived later afternoon and it was closing. I am surprised that there wasn't a public convenience as it's a heritage, scenic site with a pay and display car park. However, there is the Hatton Arms up the hill which has plenty of outdoor seating, overlooking the views. The pub serves a good coffee, refreshments, food and they have toilets. We stopped here for a coffee etc and...

I love Hatton locks. 21 locks on the grand Union canal with well managed walkways making it an easy and pleasant walk. There are a number of benches and picnic tables if you want to stop and rest your feet or alternatively there is the Hatton Locks Cafe serving a range of food and drive (open until 3pm at the moment) Not to far away is Hatton Arms a historic pub with brilliant views. There are also many public walks around here which include the locks and even the pub! You can download maps from the pubs website. During normal service there is often Volunteers at the welcome station who are happy to chat with you about the Canal and River Trust and other things such as boat trips and local wildlife. The car park is small and pay and display but don't let that...

Also known as the Hatton Flight this range of 21 locks stretches over a couple of miles of the Grand Union Canal. Originally opened in 1799 and updated in the1920's it is a tribute to the fantastic engineers of the day. The tow path is well kept and is suitable for easy walking and pushchairs. There is an abundance of canalside nature. Now managed by the Canals and Rivers Trust, on the day of our visit one of their volunteers was at hand to provide additional information. There is a pleasant tea room a short walk from the car park serving snacks at reasonable prices. This is an highly recommended no cost...

Lovely place we stopped off at on the way back from London. It was midweek in April and the car park was nearly full so I don’t know what it would be like in the summer months. £2 parking for 2 hours or £3:50 for more than 2 hours which is a great price. We went for a walk to the cafe which was nice, about £6 for 2 coffees which is average. We think it’s £5:50 for a scone and hot drink which is great but we didn’t have one as not long eaten. Can highly recommend the place but we assume it would be really busy in the summer, will definitely call back again and spend more time there.

Lovely place for a walk by the canal and to watch the world go by on the water and tow path . Nice little cafe serving good food, cakes... Wow the rocky road! Hot and cold drinks and ice cream. One unisex loo and one disability loo (ask in cafe for key for disability loo) . Cafe sells bags of very reasonable priced duck food by the tills. General parking is L shaped area to left as you drive through metal gate - ticket machine by edge of bridge side of car park otherwise one of those awful pay on your phone sign things - disabilty parking over the bridge and to the right.
