Tice's Meadow Nature Reserve — Attraction in Waverley

Went for a walk by Blackwater stream and found route is now blocked by trees and branches bulldozed by a building development,not actually in Tices Meadow but close by,means I can't walk to Tongham any more down that route,no signs to tell you route is blocked. Countryside is gradually disappearing, another 10 years and it will all be one big housing estate.Tices Meadow is owned by a developer and is only safe for a few years so make the most of it...

No disabled access; no provision for wheelchairs; poor signage to actually get close to the reserve and an intimidating surrounding boundary to the reserve with poor quality, small and difficult to find or read signage.

Very disappointing. Needs someone with mobility issues to experience what it is like for those with such issues.

Even the only access onto the reserve was too narrow to allow a wheelchair through.

Love this place, 2 hides to watch the wildlife from, one up high to see across the water towards the A31 and another waterside. Great place to relax and photograph wildlife. I often come across some of the Tice's Meadow team who are super friendly and willing to help with...
