Popular with dog walkers, joggers and young families, it offers a circuit of footpaths that remain reasonably dry in all weather with not too many areas of mud. Despite the rangers offering dog bins at every entrance it is a pity that not all dog owners have the courtesy to clear up after their pets which spoils it for everyone else. Pretty small, but a nice little natural oasis. Some running streams and 2 stagnant ponds. Nice stroll for little ones and an opportunity to paddle in the running streams (don't go near the ponds!). Surface not ideal for pushchairs. There are steep inclines and it is uneven underfoot. No cycling. Picnic tables available and...

Wasn't sure what to expect as I thought it might be a country house park. It a nice wooded area with a 1km circular walk. The bridge was broken at the time so we had to jump the small stream. Dogs are welcome and it's fairly easy walk for elderly etc.. There is a car park at the bottom of the park although I think the gates are...
