Love our little local pub, nestled in one of the last country lanes left in crowborough. They food is proper pub food, huge portions and amazing prices. Pete and the staff have always been welcoming and friendly. You feel part of a lovely community, weather you are a regular or just passing through. If your lucky enough to come on the may bank Holiday weekend, then your in for a treat listening to the big kahunas, an amazing band, who are very well known in our town. Best little pub in Crowborough. Tucked away down a country lane on the edge of town. Small in dimensions with an open (wood) fire in one bar and a coal fire in the snug. Nice outside beer garden; dog friendly inside and out. Regulars are friendly and the cask ales are brilliant (Harveys); the Wharf IPA is a very decent drop. We decided to visit this gem of a pub, rather than the more obvious ones on the main roads. We were given a very warm welcome on arrival. Without a reservation we ordered food, and were pleasantly surprised with our choices. A very nice ploughman's was one, and vegetarian Sweet Potato Thai Curry's turned out to be a great choice for two meat eaters. We would definitely...
