Jarvis Brew — Restaurant in Wealden

Had a difficult experience in here, one of those very rare occasions when the owner is not in a good space. I made a mistake with parking my car in the wrong place and I did make a comment that the £4.10 for an oat milk latte felt expensive to me but maybe it is normal.

It was very early in the morning and having slept in the car, wanted a good coffee and experience.

Anyway, now I know his name, Gary, and his rudeness was unacceptable.

I take my responsibility for parking poorly and voicing about the prices but I hope Gary can admit he was out of order also.

Coffee was very good, though and all the food looked great!

There were four of us who piled into the coffee shop with our luggage after our train had been cancelled. The hour we waited really gave us a glimpse of what a gem this place is...apart from good coffee and food (catering well for vegans in the cake department) Gary and the team seem to have turned it into a communty hub. Great coffee shop right by the station, always a happy and quick service.

I normally grab a coffee here before going up to London and I've never had a bad service, the food and pastries available at the counter are very tempting and when I have treated myself it never disappoints.
