Weldon Woodland Park is a hidden gem that feels miles away from the everyday bustle, perfect for anyone looking to escape into nature. Tucked away and refreshingly secluded, the park offers a sense of tranquility that is rare to find. This makes it an ideal spot for dog walkers who want to give their pups a chance to roam freely and explore the sprawling trails without worrying about large crowds. The well-kept paths wind through picturesque woodland, allowing for safe and enjoyable walks in all weather. The park's expansive views are breathtaking, with rolling green landscapes stretching out as far as the eye can see. These vistas are especially stunning at sunrise and sunset, providing an added reward for those willing to walk a little further to the best vantage points. Wildlife is abundant, and it's common to see birds, squirrels, and even the occasional deer, adding to the peaceful charm of the surroundings. Weldon Woodland Park is truly a haven for nature lovers, offering plenty of nooks for a quiet picnic or a scenic rest. Whether you’re an avid dog walker or simply seeking a quiet retreat, this park won’t disappoint.

A safe and enjoyable dog walk for all the family...with a lake fitted with a rope swing in the summer. Additionally, a children's play park with keep the youngens busy while the dog does zoomies around the adjacent field.

Really peacefully and well kept little park, ideal for walking the dog and getting some exercise, and if you don't want to walk on the grass areas in the wet there are plenty of tarmac paths,

Great find! Lovely place to walk with family & dogs. Circular main path which is good in all weathers, plus lots of off-path variations you can add in when less soggy (or in wellies!). Friendly, confident dog owners and most pooches off lead and happy to play. Seating & bins (incl for dog waste) at intervals around the main path. Free parking. Many trees decorated with baubles for Xmas,...

Very clean, well kept park with fields, grassland, a small amount of tree cover and a tiny circular lake. Can easily fill an hour or so with a gentle amble, or more of you being a picnic and take advantage of the play areas (once open!). Paths are mostly loose set gravel or even grass so some accessibility. No toilets or other facilities. Car park is free but small, with a capacity of...
