Beautiful and peaceful hidden away nature reserve - I think we were the only people there! Lovely trails, bird hides and a compost loo! The entrance is not always open but the key is available from the porch of the neighbouring house so you can let yourself in.

Small reserve with a couple of bird hides. Short circular walk, partially closed at present due to river erosion. We were lucky to see woodpeckers, kingfisher, green sandpipers & little egret. The padlock key to gain entry is available at the house next door.

The most tranquil little reserve I've visited yet. Paths are narrow and somewhat muddy so only suits those who can walk well Make sure that you read all of the notices as it looks like it's closed but it's pretty much always open

Had a wonderful visit with my Beaver colony. Barry and Lynne were really helpful as wardens. We'll be making a donation to HMWT to say thank you. Once the new boardwalk area is finished it'll be even more accessible.
