We had a great visit here whilst attending the local amateur radio rally. The tower and its museum were really great showing the history and some great exhibits. There were a couple of adjacent huts with more things inside too. The little cafe was great, doing some great bacon butties and absolutely fantastic cakes. It's not huge and will only last an hour or two, but definitely worth attending even if it's on one of those Sundays where your not sure what to get up to. We spent around 2 hrs there.

This is a great little museum. It takes about an hour to go around it and there is a handy tea room. It also has loos and is close to the Moreton hall trading estate, it's free entry. This makes it the perfect place to occupy someone while you nip to the shops 😃🤣 On another another note, it's also meant to be crazy haunted. I often see two mannequins standing and looking out of the window when I drive past, however I think this could be a trick of the light.....

My Great Uncle was a B17 pilot there during the war. I visited to learn more about his experiences. The museum is unmatched in its authenticity. If you want to learn about the American Airmen, then you must go here. Contact Graham Sage before you go to arrange a visit. Unparalleled personal experience. A search for their website provides contact information.

I found this gem of a museum just by chance, i was actually lost driving around Bury St.Edmunds. I am so glad i stumbled across it. I had a personal guide/tour of the site and am extremely impressed by the volunteer work that is being carried out here to keep history real and not forgetting the huge debt we owe all the young men and women that gave their lives during the...
