Uphill Beach in Weston-super-Mare is my favorite local secret! This tranquil stretch of beach is the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of the main tourist areas, offering a peaceful and picturesque spot to relax and unwind.
The beach has a natural charm, with stunning views of the sea, sand dunes, Brean Down and surrounding countryside. It’s the ideal place for a quiet stroll, a picnic, or simply to sit and enjoy the serenity. Whether you’re walking along the shoreline or exploring the nearby Uphill Marina, the atmosphere here is calm and inviting.
What makes Uphill Beach even more special is how quiet it is compared to the busier parts of Weston-super-Mare. It feels like a hidden gem that’s just waiting to be discovered. It’s also dog-friendly, which is a big bonus if you’re looking to enjoy some time outdoors with your four-legged friends.
For those who love nature and tranquility, Uphill Beach is an absolute must-visit. It’s a place that locals treasure, and once you experience its charm, you’ll see why. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful...

This leads to tourists leaving little (if they can't see a bin, they often won't bother...
