The most peaceful area of park with a freshwater lake around in Slough area with a huge forest. Take plenty of time for yourself to wander around as it is huge. Make sure you have enough charge in your phone to navigate yourself as you may lose yourself walking a lot. Tip: Download offline maps in your phone for this area as there is limited reception for multiple phone carriers.
This place is abundant of wildlife. We walked around the lake and fed the ducks, swans, tufted ducks & shovelers. If you’re lucky you may as well spot owl and bats. Look very closely as you will find the fish fawning in the lake too, might need Polaroid sunglasses for better view.
There is a cafe next to the lake which has a limited opening hours but you are welcome to bring your picnics & drinks. There are reusable water fountains and toilets in the park too including disabled ones. Place is very picturesque so can be done commercial filming too but need a permission for it.
Car park is open until 8:00 pm so make sure you leave on time as the gates shut which is operated by Go Ape and is next door. Car park is however very expensive £3.80 for 2 hours but they use the funds for building and maintaining the infrastructures.
All in all, a fun filled area for kids as well as adults and great place to walk if you love to hike. Bring comfortable shoes if you’re...

There were also plenty of seating for the adults to take a break or take it in shifts to keep an eye on the young ones.
This is what all park play areas...
Read moreEmma was my partner and our daughter Daisys mum. I’m so pleased the park is still making people happy after 17 years. When a few of my friends Dave, Steve, Katie and Nathan to name but a few, decided we would build a legacy for Emma. I honestly didn’t think I would be writing this now with a tear in my eye and lump in my throat. Thank you to everyone who’s helped along the years. We don’t have much to do with the place these days as we’ve moved away. So I’m imagining the rangers are continuing our work, so a massive 👍🏻 from me Paul and Daisy. Enjoy, Emma was a beautiful human being who is...
