NOT ALLOWED TO TAKE YOUR OWN FOOD AND DRINK IN AND EVEN WHEN YOU POINT OUT YOU HAVE ANAPHYLAXIS AND YOUR DAUGHTER HAS FOOD ALLERGY TOO YOURE STILL TREATED LIKE DIRT AND SHOUTED AT BY THE OLD GUY WHO PICKS UP RUBBISH IN THE SOFTPLAY NOT ONCE BUT TWICE!! Weâve been here many times this past 5 years and we wonât be rushing back! Nothing on their website, or when booking or on confirmation email that states that youâre not allowed to take your own food and drink in. Last time we went I saw the signs but everyone was there with pack ups and no one said nothing. This time some old man with a very aggressive attitude comes upto me when Iâm sat next to the fun house, pointing at my small cool bag going you canât have picnics in here! I replied itâs just got drinks in and isnât a picnic! No youâre not allowed anything from outside in here! I responded does that rule apply when I am anaphylactic and my daughter as MCAS like me too and Iâm on sodium crom? Yes, well your signs say no picnics and no food, it doesnât say no drinks and why arenât you having a go at all the families Iâve walked past with their massive picnic bags and loads of food, oh I will be! We then goes out the front entrance where the softplay and she asks if weâre now leaving for the day? No weâve got to go outside in this heatwave and heat in the car or risk getting screamed at by the old guy! I have anaphylaxis and on meds and my dsughter has same condition and gets her medical letter out. No itâs okay next time just let us know youâre coming and weâll let you bring your food in. I said well I should hope so seens your sign said reason is because you want to keep the place allergen free, but Iâve a list of allergens as long as your arm and do you really want to risk me having anaphylaxis eating here when she said they could cater for us (believe me Iâm down to less than 20 safe foods! She then said yes we could bring picnic bag in and manager came to speak to me and said I will have words no straightaway you said anaphylaxis and food allergy he shouldnât have continued. Anyway we sit eating our safe pack up in softplay right next to main desk for fear of bumping into old rude guy! Anyway husband goes back to car with bag, daughter in softplay and long covid me yes I am classed as disabled sat there and old guy comes for round no 2 of pointing at the bag and empty packets some of which were safe drinks we bought from venue! You canât bring outside stuff in. I said I told you earlier on Iâm anaphylactic and clearly your boss hasnât had words, follow me to desk, I then go to desk say this is the guy that needs educating on food allergy. I doubt any of them will be educated on it, but when I saw people dragging cool bags around on wheels and massive backpacks having banquets and I get him gibbing off at me over a small cool bag with drinks in itâs shocking as both times I was by myself so targeting me as by myself! Then goes to get ice cream and no separate container for scoop for plant based ice cream, Iâm like she canât eat that youâve used it in the dairy ice cream! She said go to main building they can use a clean one, sorry but food allergies mean you should always use separate scoops kept in separate water! Clearly the signs saying no outside food due to allergies is utter rubbish! We bought drinks and lollies and went on hook a duck itâs not like we didnât spend money but it seems staff are hell bent on trying to cause us anaphylaxis we are not airborne anaphylactics wits ingesting it that causes problems and it means we have way more allergens than an IGE person does as weâre MCAS! Educate your staff and please anyone reading this if youâve allergies stay away from the place staff...

Web Adventure Park YOUR A JOKE!!!
Planned a fun day out to your park as we loved it last year and thought we would spend one last fun family day out before baby girl is born.
I was aware dogs were not allowed on the park but support/guide dogs are so I called up before we had even planned to set off to check what the requirements were and and if I could bring my dog with us as he is my support dog for my condition as I suffer with non-epileptic seizures and when I have a seizure my dog licks me in order to regulate my breathing which I have also spoke to my neurologist previously and she said that my dog would be classes as a support/emotional dog for this reason.
So after calling prior to check if I can bring my dog they rang me back and said that was fine just as long as he didnât go near the animals and was on a lead at all times! FABULOUS NEWS!!
So off we went and took the almost 2hr journey to get here only to then arrive, get in the park and be approached by the âhead of managementâ and told that in fact my dog needed a harness and if he didnât have one he wasnât allowed on the park. To my shock I was taken aback as there was no mention of a harness from the staff member on the phone but the manager was telling me there was because she was sat with the staff memeber when she was on the phone to me. Therefore, indirectly calling me, A PAYING CUSTOMERâŚ. A LIAR!!!
I explained that there was no mention of a harness and obviously if there was, knowing we didnât have one we wouldnât have brought him with us! But she continued to support the fact that I was apparently told about the harness⌠I WAS NOT!! And my partner was sat with me, the phone was on loud speaker and he also said there was absolutely NO MENTION that my dog needed a harness!!!!
To our shock after being told this my partner then requested we get a refund as it would have no been a wasted journey, which wasnât much of a short one!!
We was then told, we could not get a refund as again, we was already told about the apparent 3 requirements, again, we wasnât⌠ONLY 2!!
So as you can probably understand I was just in complete shock and so angry at the fact that our day was as ruined purely because they failed to tell me something but are trying to claim that they did! And we wouldnât have either wasted our money and our time making the journey or even brought my dog if we HAD been told!
Quite clearly an event of SHOCKING miscommunication and even more SHOCKING and quite frankly INSULTING CUSTOMER SERVICE when you basically make out your customer is a liar saying they was told something when they quite clearly WAS NOT!!!
And the absolute only reason we remained there for the afternoon was because we promised the children a fun day out here to which they was then very upset about possibly having to leave and our day being ruined so decided to enjoy it the best way we could since we was unable to get our money back and for the children even though we was unable to enjoy it together!!!
ABSOLUTELY SHOCKING WEB...
Read moreWe drove just over an hour to get here, and it was an amazing fun filled day out, we spent 4 hours here and the kids did not want to leave. The soft-play is huge and they have a sensory area for babies & toddlers (my 19m old absolutely loved it), they have an indoor and outdoor role-play area (suitable for all different ages) and various different things to do outside - sand play, water play, different types of pillows and play areas, which is lovely. They also have some animals you can feed, which is nice but we found it was a pretty quick walk around (even with a heavily pregnant woman). There are loads of seating areas dotted about, which is also nice especially if you are in pain when walking, there is always a seat near by to rest. You also aren't allowed to bring your own food in to eat, which is obviously fair enough, I knew this beforehand and brought pack-ups to eat in the car before we entered.
However, we attended on a Friday - I did not realize this meant that the fair ground rides were shut, so I did have a disappointed child as they were excited to be able to go on them (perhaps my fault, maybe I didn't read everything properly, but I think it needs to be more obviously stated online that fairground rides are shut unless its a weekend). We also did think the cafĂŠ was a little on the pricier side compared to what we are used to. Ice-cream's were ÂŁ2.75-ÂŁ3.75 and we ended up spending almost ÂŁ8 on 2 coke cans and a pitcher of juice. The over-all feel of the place is clean, however the women's toilets were a little bit dirty, however understandably staff can't constantly monitor the toilets cleanliness and naturally they may become a little bit unclean.
Overall, an good day out - we have children aged 5,4 and 1 and they all found something they loved...
