The Cemetery is an absolute disgrace, the stones were taken up and laid flat but then never cleaned. Even in the newer side the older graves in there are a mess. Having worked on cemeteries I can honestly say that no care is being shown at Winwick for it's ancient graves or for Local or Family History. Even the Church is locked if a service is not on, which is another disgrace and the way they have allowed St.Oswalds Well (a grade II listed monument) to become overgrown and in a state of ruin is something that the regular church goers should be ashamed of anywhere else would be applying for a lottery grant to have it restored.
