Wolverhampton Swimming & Fitness Centre — Attraction in Wolverhampton

Couldn't create a free account to prebook a session 'an error has occurred' was the message. OK, glitches happen. Tried to call through and no answer for 5 minutes. Decided to try and turn up. First impressions were that it had a good range of swimming accessories for sale (no prices though). Asked for the family swim, 2 adults, 1 child. Server was quite blunt. OK, it's hot, maybe that could be it. Was told 4pm (at 3:25pm). I asked if the 3:30 session was full and got a blunt yes. We sat in the cafe for 20 minutes, waiting, had a drink and it was pleasant. The lady serving in the cafe was lovely and made a real effort with my son, which is always lovely, as it encourages him to help with the interaction. Went to the changing rooms and it was quite dirty underfoot (OK, people wear outside shoes), we got undressed into our swimming costumes and went on in. Showers for entry and exit we're good. Not too hot/cold. There were also private showers, which is a nice touch. Went into the wave pool. Noticed the small pool for babies and toddlers, this seemed good. The wave pool was small and felt cramped due to the amount of people there. We used the part that connected the main pool to the wave pool, and we're told no, we couldn't go there. Even though it had a connecting route. There was algae on the floor and quite a bit of rubbish about. There didn't seem to be anyone cleaning up. Because we had taken my 3 year old son, he had an extremely small area of pool he could play in/swim in. He wasn't interested in the baby pool, because he likes to swim and jump in the pool, not sit and splash. He couldn't go too deep as he isn't a strong swimmer yet and needs a floaty vest. He can't use the rapids for health and safety reasons (understandably). So he had a minimal amount of pool he could use. This didn't seem fair as there was the main pool that was fairly empty (not the swimming lanes). It did not feel like value for money at nearly £15 for 2 adults and a 3 year old. This place is honestly disgusting and I would not recommend! Honestly, the place is clean itself, but that is not what I’m here to talk about. I was in there today I was wearing a pink bikini. It was a normal bikini like any regular one and I was by the pool just playing with my brother is in the water and I’ve noticed upward life character Easter was the man was staring at me and I thought nothing of us, even though it was kind of creepy because he had no reason to, at the time I was not swimming, so he had no reason to look over at me Photo was a kid next to me and he was having trouble swimming he could have drowned and he was not looking at him the lifeguard instead, the lifeguard called over two of his colleagues which was every male that work in the building and must have told him to look over at me because they were all staring at me I was honestly, uncomfortable, this was honestly such a creep behaviour. There is a slide above me or it is a rail where you are going to get to the slide even the guy that was up there, he told to come down and look at me I was turned towards them, so they could not see my behind But even that wasn’t enough because one of the garage was laughing and he walked straight behind me stock. I kept walking then, but kept looking at me and it was obvious what he was looking at! Someone in the swimming that was honestly a nice person and came over to me and told me they were talking about me in a creepy and inappropriate way instead of doing their job honestly, disgusting place should be shut down...

It's getting worse year by year. Starting with the parking lot, there is no drop point because lazy pigs park there, no one is watching over it, and it would be enough for the traffic warden to come 3 times with fines and they would unlearn. I have a membership, I always book activities through the app, and the people at the reception don't know what I booked and for what time, I waiste time to explain, and then I get the wrong wristbands for the pool anyway. Cleanliness is at an average level, but what's more annoying is that everything is starting to go wrong there, the waves and the water with current for swimming in the leisure pool no longer work, and the additional showers have not worked for 3 years. Additionally, it's not the first time I've booked a sauna, I don't have a place for myself because everyone goes in there, even people with wristbands from the leisure or just swimm pool (the sauna wristband has an inscription), 80% of people don't have any wristbands and they spend 3 hours there using every attraction. I am a busy person, I don't have 3 hours of time to spend there and wait for places and if I see on the website that the sauna slot for an hour has only 3 people booked and then there are 12 people in one sauna and I have to wait to be able to enter and after entering 2 people have a sauna wristband, another 2 wristbands from the Just Swimm pool, (for example gold) and the rest are sitting without, it's a bit unfair I am not able to use 100% of what I booked I paid for because there are scammers...
