I've lived in Bletchley( part of MK ) for nearly 60 years and didn't realise we had so much lovely countryside within our boundaries to be able to walk through, yes within our boundaries and not on the outskirts as we knew its a city that was built in the countryside and was surrounded by countryside, the ouse vally Park actually runs through some lovely parts _ villages from 1 end of mk to the other. You can also take various walks off of many of the footpaths and right into the fields with the sheep and cows. Read moreGreat walk along the Grand Union canal, go over the Viaduct over the River Ouse for fantastic views. Walked from Old Wolverton heading towards Cosgrove, only around 11/2 miles and you end up at the Barley Mow public house. We had a Ploughman's platter to share, tasty cheese, home cooked ham, gala pie, pickled onion, freshly baked Baguette and salad really tasty. They also do a full menu if you want something more, great pub with inside and outside seating,...
