P.E. Shotwell Stadium — Attraction in Abilene

Old and out of date people are not friendly kids running on the field when they are not to run on the field. The worse thing is to see the shirt tails out on the coaching staff the look sloppy unprofessional why are we to condone this type of behavior what does that say about the integrity of our coach and the athletic director how can you look sloppy and other teams look professional its sad to what Abilene High has gone to even all the coaches sad day. Coach Warren was not my best coach but at least he made his coaches look professional if you look professional you play professional. In 21 years we have never seen such sloppy coaches. Who will be the fist Coach to dress the way it should be or are all the coaches just a bunch of losers and sloppy as they are starting with the head coach. Time will tell if you are a winner or a flop.people in the stands and job sites are all talking about the so unprofessional the Coaches look. How can a grown man think its ok to look sloppy with his shirt tail out. Grow up people its a very bad reflection on the Head coach he represent the School and kids how can a grown man think so sloppy and unprofessional when he represent a High School. Maybe he needs to go to a Jr. High school along with the rest of the coaching staff monkey see monkey do staff come on you should have pride but maybe you don't if you don't have a long enough shirt get one.!!!!! Hope you all can find your integrity and better judgement and try to look like you should professional...... or this may not be the place for you!!!!! Time will tell who wants to do the right thing to look like he should...if the Head Coach wants to look unprofessional let him hope you have better judgement to look the way a Coach should if not just look across the field next time you play another school they look professional hope you can do the same. I have seen countless games at this stadium. The stadium has seen crowds of over the 15,000 seating capacity when standing room sections were made available. Shotwell Stadium has undergone a number of upgrades in recent years, including the installation of Field Turf’s high performance synthetic turf, Revolution, state-of-the-art Musco field lighting, dressing room renovations and the addition of two new restroom complexes. Went to see Cooper Cougars vs Abilene Eagles (Cooper lost😓), cause my son Ruger Brown plays percussion in the Cooper Cougars Marching band and they did an awesome job during the halftime show, the concession prices were sky high, but I haven't been to a high school football game in a while so that to be expected, it was a cool family outing that we haven't been able to do lately. Will definitely try to make another home game before the season is over.
