Pennypack Trail Parking Lot — Attraction in Abington Township

Great starting area for the Pennypack Trail. Lots of parking, haven’t ever seen it full. The intersection to cross the road to hit the longer trail is a bit dangerous mainly due to the cars not paying attention to pedestrians so be cautious. Otherwise, a truly beautiful walking trail awaits you on either side of the parking area. Trashcans and maps are accessible right outside the main parking lot. Last note - TONS of bikes on this trail at all times. Some folks are good with an “on your left” but others will just kind of blast by you. Be careful with your dogs...

This is truly a beautiful park with scenic trails along the creek, amazing picnic and BBQ grounds that offer memorable times and amazing adventures.
