Smiley Face Water Tower — Attraction in Adair

My parents are both from eastern NE, so no matter where we lived, twice a year drive to visit NE relatives we would visit them. I remember when we lived in Cleveland OH, we would drive thru IA. IA was the longest part of the trip(6 hrs crawling 55 mph speed limit in the '70s & '80s), I would be awake when we crossed the Mississippi River and asked my parents to wake me up when we crossed the Missouri River into NE.
