This is got the whole package, beside being just next door from my house, it has a football field, lacrosse field a half-dozen soccer fields, and six, if not seven baseball fields. Also a water park (NO POOL) , play ground, this past spring the city resurfaced the eight story sledding hill, there's a concession stand, adjacent to the "HUB" the water park, but I don't know their bussiness hours. Plenty of parking on the East side, as well as the WEST side of the park. Bring your dog. BUT PICK UP AFTER YOUR DOG!!!! THIS HAS TO BE A TWENTY ACRE PARK, and NATURE RESERVE in the Northwest corner of Elmhurst. Fly a kite, walk your dog, get wet, even kiss your girlfriend! Berens Park is...

It's not just an average community park there are multiple parks on site along with an outdoor volleyball sand court.. tennis courts, soccer fields, baseball diamond.. A large hill for sledding and other winter activities.. Restrooms, A small splash pad for young ones during the summer.. large grassy areas.. basketball court..and a batting cage.. Also a really nice turf field however some areas cost money and some of the fields may be in use for the local high-school athletes.. tons of parking.. no matter the season its always a place to have fun with family, friends, kids of all ages.. also the neighborhood is really nice and safe place to...

📍493 N Oaklawn Ave, Elmhurst, IL 60126 Berens Park Playground had a huge facelift and my girls loved it. They thought it resembled castle so they could have played princesses for hours. It really is a cool design, has slides, climbing options and more. There is also a tot area, swings, ADA merry go round and more. The playground is fenced in with one opening to the path leading to the splash pad or parking lot. The splash pad has about ten water features, is fully fenced and has shaded areas. They also have a mini golf course but it is closed for improvements currently. Daily Admission Fees: Resident Youth (age 2-16)Fee $4 Resident Adult (16+)Fee $6 Non-Resident Youth (age 2-16)Fee $6 Non-Resident Adult (16+)Fee $8 Monday- Sunday 10am-4pm *The closing date is not clear on their website. Berens Park in Elmhurst, Illinois is a wonderful family park. I was there for my nephew's baseball tournament. There are a number of softball, baseball, and soccer fields. There are running trails, batting cages, splash pad, mini-golf, and play area. The cost is 4-8 dollars for splash depending on child or adult and resident or non-resident. It is 6-7 for the golf. There was a place to grab food as well. You can even rent the splash area for a private event. A play area is great for younger children. In winter a nice hill is available bfir sledding. Really nice place for families. If you are in the area check it out.
