Brian Taylor and Diven Sulkar were absolutely a joy to work with. They listened patiently to our concerns, answered all of our questions, did exactly the things they said they would, and explained well the things that needed explaining. Communication via email and text with Brian in particular was exemplary, truly 5 star customer service. As for the dealership, it was very modern and very clean. Everyone appeared to be working on some project, no salesmen lurking about in the lot smoking or that kinda thing. Nice restrooms and furniture and snacks. I can't say I appreciated the mid-2010's Ibiza DJ soundtrack playing in the background on our first visit, but if it motivates the staff to be as on-point as Brian and Diven, then let that DJ Chick spin! Also, it seems to me if you buy any BMW at a BMW dealership, it would go a long way to throw in some dealer/BMW branded swag. Free advertising for them and goodwill out the door. Coupla t-shirts, ball caps, stickers, nice metal pens, tote bags, some nice extras for the new owners to use, enjoy, and remember their visit. As it is, for the money spent, we got license plate frames, which we all know will be off the car asap. The marketing/advertising budget should include these EZ upgrades to increase the quality of the customer experience. I wanted to buy my first BMW so I called Perillo BMW to inquire about wait times for a 2023 BMW M550i. The guy on the phone was low energy, not helpful, and said "somebody will call you back". So I hung up, called Elmhurst BMW, and got connected with salesman Joe Svoboda. This was the luckiest thing that ever happened to me.

Joe is like a BMW encyclopedia. He answered all my questions without even thinking. He was super helpful and honest when helping me decide which options packages I wanted to order, and gave me his honest opinion about the different configurations. After talking with him for nearly an hour and ironing out all the details (he was super patient) I decided to order the car. He told me it will probably be here in 5 months.

Fast forward 3 days and Joe texts me a picture of a M550i that just arrived on the lot. It was a different color than I ordered but Joe offered me to stop by and check it out so I can see what I am buying.

10 minutes after arriving I told Joe "Ill take it" and we started the paperwork. He spent another hour inside the car with me helping me learn all the features and giving me tips on how to care for the car and keep it nice long term.

I am not normally someone who leaves a poor review. I would much rather praise than criticize. I left a five star review when I first bought my BMW i4 almost five months ago. I had such a terrific car buying experience, but since then things went downhill. I am pretty certain my car was a lemon. It was supposed to get at least 280 miles when fully charged. The most it ever got was 188 miles when charged to 100%. Every time I reached out to the BMW dealership with my concern, they basically said it was due to the way I drive and the car just had to get used to me. When I brought it in to service to check out the battery, the technician said there was no reason to check it out because there wasn't anything wrong with it. My car would lose three or four miles on a one mile drive and then gain an extra ten on the highway. Every time I complained, it was made to look like it was my problem. My salesperson tried to help me to now avail. Finally he said that he would like to escalate this to a BMW EV specialist or high-level technician, but that never happened. My last effort involved leaving a message for him to call me and I didn't get a response. This is not good customer service.

Finally I gave up and traded the BMW in for a different car, which actually gets almost 300 miles when...
