Buffalo Ranch — Attraction in Afton

Buffalo Ranch was Established in 1953. The original structure no longer remains.

However, a little building has been constructed to resemble a general store. It is not open to the public and is there as a roadside attraction for tourists and passersby on Route 66.

You can view the live buffalo that are kept in the corral as an honorary tribute to the original Buffalo Ranch and Dairy Farm.

Be aware there is a sign posted stating the animals are dangerous and the ranch is not responsible for accidents.

I absolutely love this place!! We just moved to the area and it will definitely be a place we frequent. The staff is super nice. The bathrooms are clean. It has a great selection in its gift shop area and the cheapest prices for phone accessories at a truck stop that I have ever seen and I'm a long haul trucker, so I've seen a lot of them. I stop by here pretty often to get a cold drink or some gas. They have drinks, hot foods and lots of souvenirs. Clean with clean restrooms and friendly service. Stop in and check out the buffalos they have living there too!...
