I sent them an email a couple of days ago and no response but I feel urged to write a review as this can be a disappointing and frustrating for a first time experience for future big families, given the tickets alone are expensive. Granted I do believe the experience if promoted without false tactics would be worth the price. To get to the point, our family picked the 8pm slot because we considered time would be more than enough if they closed at 10pm. Parking to the entrance alone took 15 min. no problem. We arrive to be notified they close the trail at 9:15pm, we were shocked and rushed to get anything to eat. We had an infant and stroller with us so you can imagine everything is slower. We make it to the trail and are almost done at the exit around 9:20pm, but there is a food truck and drinks before the end of it. We get in line only for the owner to stop me and let me know the customers in front of me are his last. This is 40 minutes early, and felt deceived at getting a time slot that clearly didn’t work with the vendors or the establishment itself. If you are a big family or family with an infant I would not recommend coming after 7:30pm/8pm time. I also find it unusual for organization to set a time frame of closure and have everything close at 9:15 when they close the trail. The correct thing to do is to switch time of closing and specify it on the site, and on email they have various opportunities to explain this. Anyway, we didn’t really enjoy the experience, if given the entire of our time we might’ve been able to sit and take pictures with our infant but that wasn’t even possible. I told my friend about this which she said they apparently also do something similar for Christmas so be warned for time frames then I’d assume it’s...

First off, walking into Nights of the Jack, it reminded me of the Fall festival that I used to go to in my hometown as a kid, which made me super nostalgic! I went recently and it was pretty packed. They have a good entrance system where you buy the tickets in timeframes, so we only ended up waiting about five minutes to get them scanned. Only annoying thing was we waited for a while at the food trucks, but the spiked ciders from the bar made up for it. I didn't know what I was walking into with the actual trail itself because my friends invited me, but it's such a fun experience. I felt like a kid again, haha, especially when the snow came down!

If you like seeing celebs, you will probably see some when you go if you pay attention! Just don't wear brand new sneakers because they will get dirty and remember it's in a state park so unfortunately the only bathrooms are port a pottys.

Overall, I'd recommend this place for a fun night out with friends or a date night. Including my admission ticket, I spent around $100 (food and 2 drinks) and it was definitely worth it for me because that's what I'd spend on a nice dinner out, and this was a great night out! But you may want to get dinner beforehand and just stick to drinks and dessert because of the lines at the food trucks so you'll have more time to enjoy the trail, bars and can take pics in all the...

I went to Nights of the Jack for the first time in 2021 and just bought my tickets to go the first night of this year's event! It's only 25 minutes from LA, but you feel like you're transported to a totally different world once you walk in.

There are a ton of photo ops, a pumpkin carving artist, and even a psychic! Loved the vegan options at the food trucks and the Halloween-themed cocktails at the "Spookeasy" bar. And the trail is a total blast - my friends and I ended up walking twice because we loved it so much! There are so many different "set-ups" throughout so you're constantly transported into different scenes.

Don't miss the cupcake truck on your way out. Oh and if you're on a date night, ditch the heels! The trail has pavement, but the entrance/food truck area doesn't. One other thing - add your tickets to your Apple wallet before you arrive. Service can be spotty - the workers were super helpful but my friends and I felt bad holding up the line! Lastly, no real bathrooms (you're literally in a state park) but the port a potty I used was clean, so all good!

Definitely recommend this for date nights, family activity, or a night out with friends. Awesome vibes all around! I will update my review with pics after I go...

Cool place for family & kids. They have variety of food trucks. Well managed with parking and outdoor restroom aka porta potty.
