Malibu State Creek Park - Parking — Local services in Agoura Hills

This is a great area for hiking but be warned, there isn't a whole lot of shade so it's very hot during the day. This area has a main hiking trail that has a large path and many small branching paths that take you around the area, including to two sites that were used in the TV show MASH and Planet of the Apes. There is a "river", which I mean that there is an area for a river but since it's been really hot and dry recently, there is very little water there right now. But, farther into the hike, we did discover a small stagnant pond with cattails and a small lake that was higher up in the hills. The hike we went on lasted about 3 hours, but there are some trails that can go on for 8 plus hours depending on your level of hiking. Overall, it's a beautiful area, and does have some shaded areas with benches which are great for brining a picnic or taking a rest. Wear Sunscreen...

Very dry and arid park. That has a long trail, which has entrance through this parking.

They have some seatings. You can sit and have a quick lunch there. Three to Four shades and table chairs were there. It has restrooms and tap water. You can quickly refresh yourself and then restart...
