Enjoyed an early morning hike led by a Summit naturalist, Kasey, who did a wonderful job. Spectacular vistas of the Cuyahoga from the overlook and plenty of variety along the rest of the trail we hiked. We experienced the beautiful birds "dawn chous" during our hike, and we were treated to a breathtaking sight of all the swallows over the Oxbow itself. Terrific hike. ...

The Oxbow is a primitive trail muddy this time of year. It's a short loop with a steep, step section. Several "step" portions need filled in as wash out has occurred and steps are leaning.
