Coldwater Mountain Bike Trails, Anniston Trailhead — Attraction in Alabama

This was my first time riding the Coldwater Mountain Bike Trail and it will not be my last. We rode a nice loop on the east side of the trails. We went up Tortoise and connected into Chilowee up to a quick connect to Talladega from Goldilocks. Then came all the way down from Talladega to Trillium and finished out on Hare. Beautiful trail system with many miles of rolling hills and various terrain (gravel, rock, roots, sand). The paths interweave so it can seem confusing, but if you turn back around most routes lead right back to the parking lot. There are also maps every mile or so which is super helpful. Epic destination for mountain bikers. The climbs may be long but their moderate in difficulty so you don't wear yourself out before the decent. Oh, and what a fantastic quiver of decents there are.
