Contacted Captain Steve several weeks ago to try and plan an outing for my church Seniors Group. He was quick to respond and very helpful. We continued to coordinate on the number of people and the weather prognosis and he gave us great updates. We arrived yesterday, July 14, 2018, and he was ready and waiting for us. He assisted us on board his boat and quickly made us at home. Very friendly and accommodating. We were able bring our own snacks and cokes with us!! He gave us a quick safety briefing about the boat and emergency procedures and then we were off for our 2 hour adventure!! He gave us great stories about the lake as well as some personal adventures while we all sat back and enjoyed the scenery and birds around us. He know Wheeler Lake very well. Took us around the shoreline and down to the locks and dam. Great views from there!! The time flew by. As we departed his boat he told us of other cruises he hosts -- sunsets and Fall season cruises.
