Tikishla Park — Attraction in Alaska

Tikishla has recently added some cool new climbing structures and benches and tables.

But, unfortunately, they have already been defaced in some places with crude words by idiots. Perhaps someone could take a small can of paint and cover over this stuff.

Park is clean and in a place where it doesn't get a huge amount of traffic. Add it to your list if you have kids that enjoy David...

Beautiful park for short, relatively flat hikes; great for kids. One fun activity is hiking in the rain! Gear up your young 'uns with rain boots and rain jacket and take a walk in the great outdoors. Listen to the rain landing on leaves, the path, and mud puddles. See how many different sounds you can hear and identify while standing still. See if you can hear yourself breathing....

Used to be a beautiful place to sit and read a book or go for a walk, but with the homeless camp in the woods between the park and Boundary and all the needles and other disgusting garbage in the parking lot - there's no way in Hell I would take my animals or kids there.
