Slight incline to the point, but 80% super flat and REALLY easy going. There are some more precarious spots towards the point where my Mom (73 with a bum knee) held our hands and had to really watch her foot placement. She crushes that trail rather easily and said it was one of favorite memory of the whole Alaskan Cruise. Grab a coffee at Glacier Coffee House on your way! Or do an afternoon stroll after lunch if you wanna move your body a bit. NOTE: The Hidden Pond Trail in Skagway is also excellent, but my husband and I got our hurts kicked. It's a 45 degree angle all the way up. Not for the unfit unless you have a ton of time to stop and take breaks. ***This trail is the easiest in town.

I've been to Skagway 9 times on cruise ships and have never done the pedestrian foot bridge and the walk to smugglers cove. Im so glad I did. There were some folks having a picnic, there is a table and place to grill on the rocks and a pavilion. The path started off easy and then turned into game of thrones stuff, but it was still a pretty easy short-ish walk. There are plenty of places to rest along the way if you need it.

This is a short hike from the cruise ship port. If you want to see a little more of this area on foot, just cross over the pedestrian bridge and turn left. Bring some bug spray though...there are mosquitoes all over the place. The rocks on the point are easy to climb, but be careful cause they are slick. This area...
