Slight incline to the point, but 80% super flat and REALLY easy going. There are some more precarious spots towards the point where my Mom (73 with a bum knee) held our hands and had to really watch her foot placement. She crushes that trail rather easily and said it was one of favorite memory of the whole Alaskan Cruise. Grab a coffee at Glacier Coffee House on your way! Or do an afternoon stroll after lunch if you wanna move your body a bit.
NOTE: The Hidden Pond Trail in Skagway is also excellent, but my husband and I got our hurts kicked. It's a 45 degree angle all the way up. Not for the unfit unless you have a ton of time to stop and take breaks.
