We stopped at Skagway on a cruise to Alaska on October 23, 2024. We are on the last ship for the season. We went to Skagway Trading Company, who had discounts on a select group of merchandise since it is so late and they are going to be closed until spring 2025. Somehow the discount was missed on a T-Shirt. I did not notice until I got back to the ship. Since I have a walker and walking is challenging I was not able to go back to the store.
The only contact is an email so I took pictures of my receipt, the T-Shirt and the tags and explained what happened. They contacted me shortly and refunded my t shirt then charged the sale price on a new one. He even texted me a picture of both the credit and the new purchase receipt.
I appreciate the wonderful customer service that I was given. They went above and beyond to help me out. I wanted to shout out and tell them thank you for their honesty and integrity. I would definitely shop there again without hesitation and I highly recommend it to anybody in...
   Read moreThis is for the skagway boutique company. I bought this item from them and it didn't work at all. Don't buy it . It's not worth the money. You'll look the same after a month of using it. I paid over 200. For the serum that was supposed to make your bags under your eyes go down it didn't work at all. They tried it on me at the store and it did make it look like they were going down.    Read moreThe "Soapy" spirit of Skagway is alive and well in this shop. Bought $150 worth of jackets. Asked to keep little cheap plastic hangers because cruise ship hangers are scarce. Clerk looked over at a lady, presumably manager, who said in a very condescending tone, "we don't just give away our hangers." Give away? I just paid $150 for over priced souvenir jackets.
