I couldn't stop thanking the family that owns this business for opening in Albany. A Hawaiian girl from Hawaii who misses her Filipino/asian foods deeply appreciates this place for opening! I don't need to make those 1.5-2 hr + drives to get my little knick knacks and snacks. The fact that I can get Aloha shoyu from them, really speaks volumes cause not a lot of asian markets sell that brand, and it's a soy sauce thats more common in Hawaii than kikoman. They also sell fresh lumpia, steam buns and pancit! There's also other varieties of Filipino delicacies available at the food counter or the check out counter that reminds me of home. I can also get my ube ice cream, halohalo fix now too āŗļø....

Since moving here, I have to make a list of items to bring back when we visit Atlanta. Welllllā¦I donāt have to really do that anymore now that we have an Asian store in town!! The store was clean, organized, and had many familiar products plus more! The owner states they will be selling lumpia and kabobs on the weekends and did I mention they also serve boba tea?!! This is no H-mart but itās still better than not having any Asian grocery in the area. Compared to the stores back in Atlanta some items were a bit more pricey but still doable. Since I wasn't able to buy anything due to not getting my paycheck for a few more days, an incredibly sweet man recommended an ube cake and bought it for me! And his wife showed us around the store and got us even more goodies to try. Also, they were serving a delicious ube cake in the back!
