2 stars for being the best quick, cheap, yummy burger joint in town to satisfy those late night cravings. But lord have mercy the service is always horrible. It’s hilarious that sometimes you can hear the drive-thru staff talking smack about you or other customers clear as day through the intercom. Even though they try to act like they’re not there and they don’t know you’re there, so they don’t have to serve you until they feel like it. Big yikesss. I’ve worked in restaurants so I always try to be understanding, but that ain’t it. Hoping there will be some improvements at some point.

Parking lot is an absolute nightmare. Food is being rushed to the point it's not fully cooked. This location seriously needs a quality control person checking all orders before sending them out. Check out the 3 tiny onion rings. Staff needs some additional training as the cashier kept telling me that I was ordering wrong even though there's 2 menu boards that shows the 2 corn dogs. She had to ask a coworker before she would type in my order. I actually found it humorous.

We stopped in to visit my Dad & decided to eat out for lunch. I wanted Zalia’s soul food, but they were closed ! So, Cook Out was next on the list. I’m glad the other was closed !! I had the Cajun Chicken Sandwich (employee favorite suggested). I had it with hush puppies & coleslaw ! Good stuff. I ended up getting a Strawberry Cheesecake Milkshake, which was also delicious. Our cashier had the best attitude !!

So glad the cookout is in Albany, GA. If you've never ate at the cookout you may wonder "what makes this place stand out from the others?" Well, in comparison to other chains this is the closest thing to backyard grilling with the family. The first time I tried it was in middle GA area, and I was hooked. Initially I would always get a burger and fries. On a later occasion I tried a chicken wrap and I liked it. Then I tried the chicken and beef quesadilla a couple of times. Recently I decided to try the pull pork. In my mind I was expecting it to be terrible. Sadly. I have tried pull pork at "fast food" chains and have been very disappointed. Hey, even some restaurants known for BBQ have had pull pork that was not good. But, I went to the cook out with an opened mind to try the pull pork, and especially since most of the food I've tried have been pretty good. So, I asked the lady behind the counter if she had tried the pork sandwich and she said it is one if her favorites. I was convinced, and so I ordered it. I must admit that was pleasantly surprised because it was pretty good! I love the cookout great food, great value for your money, nice setup, and good service. If it stays consistent it'll give other chains stiff...

My first impressions are do not eat here, the staff are very rude. Firstly, I’d like to say I’ve never been to this restaurant before. I came for a late night snack as there is nothing else open. I use the drive-through and I looked at the menu and I had stated to the female that had answered the menu board that I have never been here. What do you think is good. She ignored the three times I’ve asked this question so then I just began to order cluelessly to what was good at this location. She was very rude and quick on the menu board. I ordered a hamburger and she said how do you want it? I was clueless to what she meant by this so I said well done? She then ignored that and then I had to ask what do you mean by how do I want it when she gave me the answer she was also very rude, and seemed like she did not want to be there. I pulled up to the drive-through window where she was also very rude despite me using proper mannerisms such as thank you no ma’am yes ma’am, and all of the other mannerisms. The person at the drive-through window seemed like she was more interested in talking to her coworkers, then to providing good customer...

Had to go through the drive-thru three times to get our order right. The first time they served tomatoes on a sandwich after telling them I'm allergic to tomatoes! Then, once we pulled out with no tomatoes, 2 out of 3 of our other sandwiches were cold to the touch! Literally served us cold food at a restaurant called Cookout. This location is a joke. I've always enjoyed Cookout in other cities but I will never be back in Albany, GA. I feel bad because this is our 2nd time going and our 2nd time having an issue and the manager who fixed our order the first time was very helpful, but I feel she will be put of a job soon because there is no way this place can stay open with employees like this working there. When we returned for the second time with the cold sandwiches, the employees were not even surprised! They did not even care to serve us hot food so I'm not surprised they didn't care to remove tomatoes for a guest that is allergic to tomatoes. We will not be returning. I feel bad whoever owns this location because Cookout is a household name and they have completely ruined the brand and any chance of this place...
