Maryland Fried Chicken — Restaurant in Albany

My family and I drove down to the Bany for a day of family fun time. We went to visit Radium Springs, one of the 7 wonders of Georgia. Because it was a place we had never visited. After visiting the park and all that walking we did, we were hungry so we drove around until we stumbled upon Maryland Fried Chicken. I got excited because I have a MFC back in my hometown. I ordered a pint of chicken livers and a 3 piece dinner. Horrible!!!! We waited forever in line so I thought they were dropping fresh chicken in the hot grease. Nope, I was wrong! When I finally received my food, my chicken livers were not hot, but my chicken box was luke warm with plenty of FEATHERS on the chicken, fries were warm and it was a hand full of them. There was a slice of bread not a biscuit. It was just awful there. I do not recommend anyone to go to this Maryland Fried Chicken. They asked us to pull our car up, so I new my chicken was going to be piping hot! I WAS WRONG!

I'm so disappointed in my experience here. PLEASE! PLEASE NEVER GO TO THIS MARYLAND FRIED CHICKEN IN ALBANY GEORGIA! IF I COULD GIVE A LOWER RATING I MOST...

Let me preface this by saying, Maryland's has the best chicken livers and fried green tomatoes I've ever tasted in Albany. We always get the livers for hubby cooked soft because he has some dental issues caused by previous medications, so it's easier for him to eat them soft. They're always perfect. However, I understand that the restaurant is trying, and unfortunately failing, at trying to be something it's not. That "hot bar" is atrocious. Everything is old and dried out, and it's not good. I got hamburger steak with mashed potatoes and gravy, and baked beans on the side. It had just been put out. It was all awful. They have an ice cream machine that's sitting in front of the door as you walk in, and it's never worked. The place needs a very good cleaning and updating. It's not appealing visually, and the girls who work the front aren't as friendly as the ones used to be. We'll continue to visit for the livers and tomatoes, but we won't get anything else. I hate that they closed the one on MLK because I loved...

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I'VE EVER RECEIVED. I placed an order for a pint of gizzards and after about 8 minutes of waiting I asked how much longer was the wait time. I was advised about 6 minutes because my order was never put in. I advised the manager Macrina that I did not have time to wait and I would like a refund. She advised me that they did not give refunds and I could either leave or wait on my food. I told her that they couldn't just refuse to give me my money back. She said their policy is no refunds. I advised again that they hadn't given me anything, so really they are just taking my money. She said I could wait or leave. I asked for a manager, she said she was the manager. I asked for the owner, she said his name was Jason and he was on vacation so I would have to wait until Friday and call back to the store. Sure enough, I left and she refused to give me a refund and kept my money.
