My visit to the Rio Grande Nature Center was a great introduction to the Bosque ecosystem of New Mexico. The visitor's center is very well designed and features a wide spiral ramp with several view blinds overlooking a large pond. It's a perfect spot to immerse yourself in the local ecology, and the numerous informative displays enriched our understanding of the area's wildlife. The staff were very friendly and helpful, eager to answer questions and share their knowledge. There was a room with floor-to-ceiling glass that provided an uninterrupted view of the pond. We were treated to the sight of several turtles basking in the sun on logs. What struck me most was a beautiful statement from one of the staff members. They mentioned that many visitors come to the center for the first time as children, brought by their parents or on class field trips. Then, as adults, they return with their own children. It truly emphasizes the enduring value of nature centers like this one, a place to allow multiple generations to explore and appreciate nature, fostering a lifelong connection to the environment. We, like the migratory waterfowl, exist within the cycles of nature and one day, we too...

I definitely had issues with the summer camp offered through the Nature Center. The camp itself is fine, it's the billing aspect that leaves something to be desired. I had got the dates mixed up thinking I'd signed my kids up for the amphibian week but was down for the reptile. We missed the week and we were told we could not take the kids for the current session because the teachers had already been paid for the previous.

When I asked to speak to someone from the camp side of things, I was repeatedly dismissed or told I would be contacted later, which never happened. My issue is, at the very least, if a refund is not an option, throw me a credit or something. I was a good customer in that I had put my children in this camp before. Now, I am left with a bitter taste, as no one has bothered to contact me and I feel as if I've been swindled by crooks.

This could have been easily remedied by a simple phone call. Now I suppose the only thing I can do is spread the word of my negative experience to other parents I know. There are plenty of summer camp options in Albuquerque. Best spend your money wisely at...

I baptized myself in your waters 2022 after my "Brain Injury" (Bad Hospitals), please clear all of the pain of this land and those who crossed this waters, in Hope of Better, anything. I did this, in front of one of my offenders, may you share my strength, courage, and Heal. Untill you sharpen your own, I don't mind. Amen, in the highest Elohim's name, by the Mercy of the Heavenly Creator's Host (who reside with him, only), and the power of the Holy Ghost, Given only by God themselves, and available to All who seek him, Truely.

May the Creator clear this land of any; santeria, occult practices (against human life) that'sDark alchemy, witchcraft, and all the dark princes of this World, at play in powerful places. Amen. Alice Lulu Uwabega, I will not be Silenced, because I have A Loving, Harmonious Adoration for the one God/Allah/God/Eck/ Source/Heavenly Creator, who put the Light in All of our eyes. Dont forget You come from Love, ABQ/Santa Fe/NM. Wake up from this spell, do the work, Heal, don't harm people, and I believe in you. You deserve Life, and what it means to you. Agape....

This is a super fun place to visit! Honestly, not great views of the river, but the rest of the park is amazing. The visitor center has a lot of interactive learning opportunities as well as a place to sit and watch animals in a pond as well as bird feeders. We saw tons of birds, squirrels, small fish, geese, ducks and chicks, and turtles. There are also some walking/running paths beyond the visitor center. Many of the paths have plants and flowers labeled with what they are. The rest of the paths lead back through a Bosque area that takes you down to the river. The paths are all dirt or sand, so choose your shoes accordingly. The trails also lead to a long bike path that goes along the river. This would be a great place to bring young children and families for a walk and to learn about nature.
