A Galerie — Attraction in Alexandria

My husband and I were out exploring Olde Town and happened to come across this STUNNING antique shop. I have always had a thing for these types of stores. In summary, I was blown away by the quality, service and the price of the items. They had some great antique light fixtures which was exactly what we happened to be hunting for. Matthew helped us pick out a piece that was perfect for the space we had; he had a lot of great recommendations and spent almost an hour helping us make a decision. We were pleased to see that A Galerie is now open by appointment! This store is a quick walk off the main bustle of King Street and is filled with treasures of all shapes and sizes. If you like classic art, furniture, jewelry, and glassware, as well as quirky items from different time periods, this is the place to go. This shop is amazing! I was walking back to my car from an appointment and on a whim I decided to check out this antique store. Not only was it filled floor to ceiling with beautifully curated antiques, but also the owner was a delight! Janice knows her inventory and is passionate about people finding pieces that speak to them. She helped me discover this beautiful tray that I had to take home and can’t stop looking at.
